Examples: "When was Michael Crichton’s birthday?" or "Japanese restaurants in San Francisco," or "400 kilometers into miles."

The Attack Of The UFO Webcam
Fancy a webcam that does more than transmit a digital image of yourself over the Internet to somebody else’s computer? With the UFO Webcam, you will be able to do that and more. After all, who can resist its rather alien design? It not only features a webcam, but it also comes with a built-in fan (as if you need that during the winter) and a microphone. The rotund webcam segment itself looks like Kirby or Boo from Mario’s universe. Not meant for serious corporate types, but college students and juveniles might find this a hoot to own. Non-contact Charging System

Non-contact Charging System
Mojo Mobility Inc. has developed their own non-contact charging system - currently a fantasy of many a geek. Apparently, this technology is able to charge multiple mobile devices simultaneously, all through the use of a piece of sheet. No voodoo or black magic is involved, just plain old science at work here. This time round, the system will rely on an electromagnetic induction method to transmit and receive electric power, and is easily installed even in slim devices such as cell phones. The system itself is comprised of a couple of coils, where one is used to transmit while the other receives electric power. Currently, up to four cell phones can be charged simultaneously using its prototype. (Read the full post about ‘Non-contact Charging System’…)

Gadgetell Review: NYRIUS Global Talking Translator

Gadgetell Review: NYRIUS Global Talking Translator
The NYRIUS Global Talking Translator offers 8400 programmed phrases in 12 languages.  The unit has a speaker so that it can say the phrases for you in the language you choose.  In emergencies, this could be quite helpful since you wouldn’t need to worry about miscommunication due to mispronunciation. The form factor is small—small enough to fit in a shirt or pant pocket.  However, the sacrifice for such a convenient size is the lack of a keyboard to type in phrases, leaving you tied to the unit’s less than convenient menu tree of phrases.  Access to the menus is via dedicated buttons on the unit, such as Emergency, Transportation, and Restaurants.  The unit does come with a paper reference guide that maps the phrases by the menus.  Finding a phrase this way is a bit quicker than doing it through the unit, but it means you’ve got one more thing to bring with you. Dell Inspiron Mini 9 Gets New Status LED

Dell Inspiron Mini 9 Gets New Status LED
If you want something done, you’d best do it yourself. That’s what a member of the My Dell Mini forums decided to do by making his own “hard drive activity” indicator without replacing the low battery indicator or power LED, instead, he has placed a new blue LED right beside the battery light. This means whenever the SSD is in use, the blue light will glow, and once your battery dips below the 10% mark, it will start to blink in orange. Neat! Live Poker Introduces Social Gaming to iPhone
A social gaming network on Thursday launched the first poker game for iPhone with online, multi-player capabilities. Zynga’s Live Poker, a game available through the App Store, looks like any ordinary Texas Hold’em poker game, but its unique feature is the ability to play with others live online. The game is free as is the gaming experience, meaning players only gamble with fake money. Each player receives a daily allowance of 1,000 play chips. Though a poker game may not sound all that exciting, the launch of Live Poker represents the iPhone’s shift toward online, social gaming. While many games on the iPhone are quite impressive, they exist as their own islands: You play them either by yourself or with another player on the same handset.
